There are views ahead to the coast. At the end of the trees, again if the path is not obvious, bear slightly right to aim just short of the bottom right of the arable field. When you reach the end of the arable field, there is a wire fence with trees beyond.

There is an opening in the fence with a footpath waymarker post to the right of it. Pass through the gap and follow a path through the trees. Walk a few metres, slightly downhill to meet a crossing path at a further waymarker and turn left onto it.

Continue slightly downhill towards a waymarker that can be seen ahead, about 70 metres or so. At this waymarker the track turns sharply right, but you should turn left to follow the waymarker. Walk through the trees and gently downhill.

The mast of a mobile base station can be seen on the left.

Stay with the path as it kisses the field once again on the left before bearing right away from the field. The path reaches a wide farm track passing from left to right. Walk straight across this and continue for metres to reach a five-bar gate leading to a lane.

On the lane turn right and walk to pass beneath some electricity cables. After some metres the lane bears left to terminate at a five-bar gate, with an unmade track going straight ahead signed Timwood Lane. Pass to the right of a holly tree to follow this lane. Stay on the track, ignoring two options en-route to turn off left through kissing gates. After metres or so you will reach a road on a bend. The left option takes you to Keepers Cottage.

DO NOT go this way, but go straight ahead to effectively turn right onto the road. Walk for metres and, after passing the entrance to a large house on the left, look out for a public footpath fingerpost by a stile on the right. Pass over the stile and into a meadow. Meadow to End. Walk straight across the meadow, passing a large flint house on your left. Aim for a stile in a line of firs directly ahead. Pass over the stile and walk straight ahead across an arable field towards a fingerpost which can be seen on the other side.

At the end of the field, walk ahead and slightly downhill bearing left. As the track bears right, go straight ahead into an arable field. Now this final stretch of the route does not exactly follow the official right of way, but the farmer appears to want you to follow the tracks left by a tractor and footprints on the ground indicated that this is what people have done.
